About Birch Hill

We built the settlement infrastructure treasury teams have been waiting for

Founded in Miami in 2024, Birch Hill started from a direct observation: corporate treasury teams spend more time chasing wire status than managing strategy. We fix that with infrastructure that settles cross-border payments and handles compliance automatically.

The founding thesis

Treasury teams deserve infrastructure built in this decade

Most corporate cross-border payments still move through correspondent banking chains that were designed for a world where settlement happened over days and audit trails were compiled by hand. The rails have not changed. The compliance requirements have grown significantly more complex.

Birch Hill was built to close that gap. We connect treasury systems to stable-rail settlement infrastructure, route payments to avoid the correspondent chain entirely, and generate complete compliance documentation at every step. Treasury teams get back the hours they were spending on manual reconciliation and wire follow-up.

The correspondent banking model was built for batch processing. It was never updated for a world where compliance teams need instant answers and treasury closes in real time.

Angel-backed. Focused on the problem.

Birch Hill is angel-backed by a small group of investors with direct experience in institutional treasury and payment infrastructure. We are not optimizing for growth-at-all-costs metrics. We are building settlement infrastructure that treasury teams can actually rely on, and we answer to customers before we answer to a cap table.

Work with us or join us

We are always interested in hearing from treasury teams who have the same frustrations we set out to solve, and from engineers who want to work on payment infrastructure.
